Sr. Full Stack Developer

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

  • 7+ years in full stack development, with 3+ years owning production systems in a lead capacity.
  • Proven delivery of enterprise-grade web applications using microservices.
  • Experience with either OCI or enterprise on‑prem deployment.
  • Mastery of the OWASP Top 10 and the ability to proactively apply secure‑coding practices across the full stack.
  • Familiar with PCI-DSS standards.
  • Frontend Skills

  • Expert in modern JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Proficiency in at least one SPA framework: React, Angular, or Vue.
  • Ability to create UI wireframes and UX mockups.
  • Familiarity with state management (Redux/NgRx/Pinia), form handling, REST integration, and component testing (Jest, Cypress).
  • Backend Skills

  • Expertise in at least one backend stack: Node.js (Express/NestJS), Java (Spring Boot), Python (FastAPI/Django), or C# (.NET Core).
  • Strong experience designing RESTful APIs, versioning, and documentation (OpenAPI).
  • Familiar with microservices patterns: service discovery, resilience, API gateways, observability.
  • Database Skills

  • Strong SQL skills across Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • Schema design, indexing strategies, stored procedures/functions, and query optimization.
  • Experience with data migration, backups, and performance diagnostics.
  • DevOps / Cloud / Deployment

  • Hands‑on with Docker and Kubernetes/OKE.
  • CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Deployments on on‑prem servers or OCI (Compute, OKE, API Gateway, WAF, Vault).
  • Testing Skills

  • Unit testing frameworks (Jest, JUnit, PyTest, NUnit).
  • QA testing knowledge and collaboration with testers.
  • System Integration Testing (SIT) exposure and system‑level troubleshooting.
  • Soft Skills

  • Clear communication and stakeholder alignment.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical thinking.
  • Team leadership, code reviews, and documentation discipline.
  • Preferred Qualifications (Nice‑to‑Have)

  • Intranet security and reverse proxy experience.
  • OCI native services: Load Balancer, Functions, API Gateway, Vault, Logging/Monitoring.
  • Event‑driven architectures (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
  • Domain‑Driven Design (DDD), Clean or Hexagonal Architecture.
  • Automated SIT pipelines; SRE practices (SLOs/SLIs, error budgets)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Frontend & UI/UX

  • Development of an intranet web-based frontend.
  • Design user interfaces, create wireframes, and collaborate with stakeholders for UX validation.
  • Implement responsive, accessible, and secure UI components.
  • Optimize frontend performance for internal network conditions.

B. Backend & Microservices

  • Design and implement backend microservices with clean APIs, proper versioning, and documentation.
  • Develop high-performance, secure backend services capable of running on on‑prem infrastructure or OCI (Compute/OKE/Functions).
  • Implement caching, asynchronous processing, and event-driven workflows where appropriate.
  • C. Database Engineering
  • Design schemas and write efficient SQL for Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
  • Optimize queries, indexing, and stored procedures/functions.
  • Use ORM frameworks or direct SQL depending on project standards.

D. Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Implement unit tests for both frontend and backend components.
  • Participate actively in QA testing and System Integration Testing (SIT).
  • Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and deployments.

E. DevOps & Deployment

  • Build CI/CD pipelines for both on‑prem and OCI environments.
  • Package and deploy microservices (Docker/Kubernetes/OCI services).
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and performance dashboards.

F. Security

  • Adopt secure coding best practices for intranet environments (defense‑in‑depth).
  • Enforce input validation, session management, encryption in transit, and role‑based access control.
  • Apply secrets management and dependency/vulnerability management.

G. Collaboration

  • Collaborate with PMs, BAs, QA, and infrastructure teams.
  • Produce architecture documentation and technical guidance (ADRs, diagrams).
